The COVID-19 crisis has completely changed the education landscape. One thing that won't change, however, is the Park City Education Foundation’s unwavering support for students and teachers.
Our response has been fourfold:
1) Work closely with the Park City School District to amplify communication with school district families regarding online learning resources, school nutrition, materials pick-up, etc.
2) Pivot from our canceled fundraising event, Running with Ed, to expand our Express Grant Fund to support immediate teacher and student needs in a distance learning landscape.
3) Increase fundraising efforts for our Bright Futures students to close their college savings gap. Money allocated for college tuition is being redirected toward immediate family needs like food and shelter.

4) Work with PCSD Outreach Coordinators to provide basic needs assistance to our most vulnerable student families, and rent assistance in partnership with Jewish Family Service, thanks to gifts from the Park City Community Foundation.
