Our Mission

Todo comenzó en 1986 con una oportunidad financiada por la comunidad: una beca de $2,000 que permitió a dos estudiantes de Park City asistir a un campamento espacial de la Universidad de Stanford. Aquella iniciativa se convirtió en la primera subvención otorgada por la Fundación Educativa de Park City, sembrando la semilla de lo que hoy es una organización comprometida con enriquecer la educación de nuestros estudiantes.

What began with a $2,000 community-funded opportunity for two Park City students to attend a Stanford University space camp became the first grant in 1986, planting the seeds for what became the Park City Education Foundation. Today – 40 years later – that single grant has grown into an organization that contributes nearly $2 million annually to our schools, funding initiatives and programs across Park City schools.

All four PCSD schools will have full-time Licensed Clinical Social Workers this year. This is supported in part through a PCEF Innovation Grant thanks to PCEF donors.
