IDEAS FOR IMPACT EDUCATOR SUMMIT

Event Registration Link **Space is limited so registration is required!

This is an *EXCLUSIVE & FREE* event for PCSD educators!

It’s an opportunity for educators to connect with friends and colleagues across PCSD. This is the only social event that PCEF is presenting exclusively for educators this school year.

This is a CELEBRATION of our PCSD educators… a party with a purpose. The event theme is Learner Centered Classrooms. You'll see innovative teaching and learning strategies while celebrating the amazing work happening across the District.

Come support PCSD Educators & Represent your School!

Here is the full list of presenters and topics

We are planning surprises and delights throughout the evening…don’t miss out on the FUN and CELEBRATION.

The evening will conclude with a Fireside Chat between Caleb Fine and our new Superintendent of Schools Lyndsay Huntsman.

EVENT SCHEDULE

  • 5:00 pm Social Half Hour. Food & Beverage to remain open during the event.
  • 5:30 pm Welcome Message: Ingrid Whitley, PCEF CEO & President
  • 5:40 pm Presentations & Demonstrations with PCSD Educators
  • 6:40 pm Fireside Chat with Superintendent Lyndsay Huntsman. Closing Remarks.
  • 7:00 pm Thank you. The End.

FORMATS

Poster Presentation. A visual presentation of information in the form of a poster,  infographic, or multimedia presentation that attendees may view and discuss with you. Attendees will view posters at their own pace. Think science fair!

Interactive Demonstration. A hands-on exhibition of tactical tools and/or technologies. Attendees will be able to experience demonstrations and speak with the demonstrators.

Fireside Chat. An intimate conversation between a host and guest speaker(s) who are experts or thought leaders in their field.

*Attendees will mix and mingle throughout the event. The idea is to keep things loose and fun while offering opportunities to learn from fellow educators and colleagues.

Photos from 2023!

No one knows more about what our schools need than those who are in the classroom. PCEF created the Teacher Voice Project in 2016, bringing a small group of teachers together to provide feedback on PCEF's granting process. This eventually grew into the Innovation Lab.

Through the Innovation Lab we are bringing our educators and thought leaders together to workshop concepts to shape education in Park City. In the spring of 2023, we hosted our first ever Ideas for Impact Educator Summit! This idea, born out of our Innovation Lab workshops, brought together over 100 PCSD educators to exchange ideas, best practices, and learn about PCEF-funded programs across the district. We are excited to host this again in 2025!
