BRIGHT FUTURES STORIES

11 Bright Futures Park City Students To Graduate College!

This year, 11 Bright Futures Park City students (all 2021 PCHS grads) are on track to achieve their dreams of college graduation!

Park City Education Foundation honors the hard work it took for these hard-working first-generation students to get to this point - and celebrates this incredible achievement!

As these 11 graduates make their way in the world next year, Bright Futures Park City will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Hundreds of students have participated in BF over the last decade, and an upcoming expansion of the program will increase the number of students PCEF can serve exponentially.

Bright Futures Park City begins with PCHS’ invaluable Dream Big program, which provides access to a rigorous academic curriculum to prepare students for success in AP and concurrent enrollment courses. Students and their families work with Dream Big and Bright Futures staff on everything from preparing for college, choosing the right school, creating and following college budgets, finding scholarships, completing financial aid forms, touring campuses, and gathering dorm room essentials.

Once students are in college, the PCEF Bright Futures team continues comprehensive coaching, mentoring, and providing resources until they get THROUGH college. Coaching may focus on how to ask for help, how to find and access resources, how to set up for career success through internships, emergency assistance, and more.

When the hard-working first-gen students of Bright Futures accomplish their post-secondary education dreams, they benefit, their families benefit, and the entire Park City community benefits -- in too many ways to count.

All of this is possible because of generous donations from our community. Thank you for your support
