"PCCAPS has shown me what it's like to work in the real world and how to manage people and responsibility," said Rifkin. "It teaches you how to intertwine these skills, which will help everyone who takes PCCAPS be successful in the long run.”
-Dylan Rifkin, a junior who has been a part of PCCAPS for two semesters, shared his thoughts on how the program has shaped his educational experience.
When you give to PCEF, you Build the Foundation for every student to succeed. Our schools are excellent even though $170 million of our education tax dollars leave Park City. PCEF funds help keep PCSD great and build the foundation for every student to succeed.
Did you know? PCEF Supports 8 Signature Initiatives:
a.) supplements newly expanded Preschool costs - so it’s affordable for all
b.) funds Art education (it was cut in the 1980s!)
c.) boosts Afterschool program funding so it’s affordable for our entire community
d.) sustains Educator and Student Wellness initiatives
e.) contributes funds for Real-World Learning and STEAM in K-12 classrooms
f.) partners with first-generation Bright Futures students as they work to and through higher education
g.) puts Classroom Grants directly into innovative educators’ hands
h.) supports an educator Innovation Lab for even more positive impact in classrooms
i.) provides an average of $500 in funding per pupil – every single year
The most powerful testament to PCEF's mission of funding educator-driven initiatives that inspire all students to achieve their academic and lifelong potential is witnessing students thriving, pursuing their passions, and hearing from them, and Park City's educators throughout the journey.
“PCSD Preschool sets our kids up for the future. If they become intrigued with school, they’ll have the desire to learn; they'll learn to read, learn to write, learn how to change the world – and make it a better place.”
-Lisa Rasch, Preschool Teacher
Change the equation for PCSD students by donating $2 per school day ($360), or joining Scholar Circle ($1,000 or more). Your support ensures Park City's excellent legacy will endure.
