PCEF Program Virtual Visit & Art Lesson: Elementary Visual Arts (EVA)
Please join us to learn more about the Elementary Visual Arts (EVA) program with Melissa Allen - EVA Instructor at Parley's Park Elementary - AND participate in an *art lesson* inspired by artist Hunt Slonem.
NOTE: Both you/your child AND grandparents must register!
Supplies Needed:
- PAINT (acrylic preferred, tempera okay)
- 3-4 colors in small squeeze bottles.
- Credit card (old) or some sort of "scraper" to scrape excess paint across paper/canvas
- Black and white paint to draw bunny or any other animal face of choosing
- A few assorted sized paint brushes
- Canvas board, bristol board or paper. Something a little sturdier preferred.
- Pencil and scratch paper to practice animal form.
The visit will include a Q&A session. Guests are welcome to submit questions prior to the event or during the event.
Thanks to support from PCEF donors and a partnership with the Kimball Art Center, we’re able to keep art in the classroom for Park City’s elementary school students.
