Kara Cody
Kara Cody is Park City Education Foundation's Vice-President of Programs. She hails from Yankton, SD (home of Tom Brokaw!) She studied political theory and philosophy at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. After a stint working in the US Senate and in legislative affairs at a Beltway law firm, she worked on several political campaigns. A quarter life crisis led her to the mountains of Park City, Utah, where she has held a variety of positions in the nonprofit world. Prior to her time at PCEF, Kara worked for Sundance Institute managing community and student outreach programs and government relations. She lives with her husband, son, and Bernese Mountain Dog. When not overseeing PCEF programs, Kara enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and live music.
