Katie Macc

Katie Macc

Katie Macc has degrees in Physics and Economics from The University of Virginia, has lived in Europe, the US and Africa, and has executive experience across for profit and nonprofit sectors as an operator, board member and funder. Katie currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Sorenson Impact Center. Sorenson connects capital to social and environmental impact through impact investing and consulting in impact measurement, finance and strategy. Prior to that, Katie founded a fintech company, Juntos Global, which served over 5M customers across 3 continents before it was acquired in 2021 by Nubank. Katie also spent three years at the Dovetail Impact Foundation doing grantmaking and impact investing. Katie currently serves on the board of The Kilgoris Project, an international NGO that provides education in rural Kenya.

Katie lives in Park City with her husband and four year old son. In her free time you can find her mountain biking, trail running, advocating for regenerative agricultural practices and support for local food systems, and spending quality time with her family.
