You might be thinking – wait, isn’t Running with Ed canceled this year? Indeed, Park City Education Foundation’s RWE - in line to be the 11th annual event - is taking a “Gap Year” for 2020: the health, safety, and well-being of the Park City community in the face of the COVID-19 crisis is the top priority.
The race, which was scheduled for May 16, usually raises $280,000 for PCEF-funded programs for Park City School District.
As the world switches gears on a dime, we, too, have pivoted to expand our Express Grant Fund to provide urgent funding for at-home schooling needs. In fact, instead of cheering on our Running with Ed runners, we are now asking those who are able to become Running with Ed donors.
Which leads us to the 2020 RWE sponsors.
Every single one of them has suffered from the coronavirus crisis. And yet - and yet! - so many of them are sticking with their 2020 sponsorships.

On behalf of the Park City Education Foundation, I want to express my most heartfelt THANK YOU to these sponsors who are sticking by us in our “Gap Year” of Running with Ed 2020. Your actions in this time of health and economic crisis mean more to us than we could ever express. Your funding will positively impact every single student in the Park City School District. We are so grateful. Thank you. - Abby McNulty, PCEF Executive Director.
