The 16th annual Running with Ed relay race will fund $240,000 in 2025/26 Classroom Grants - reaching every school in the district.
Our Park City community has come together again to celebrate and support our students, educators, and schools in a vibrant, fun, beloved event.
Nearly 1,000 people walked, danced, jumped, and ran in Park City Education Foundation’s Running with Ed, a fundraiser that supports Park City's students, educators, and schools. Thanks to these participants, our donors, and the sponsors who partner with PCEF, our incredible community raised more than $245,000!
100% of the money raised through RWE stays in classrooms throughout Park City schools.

Running for the kids
For 16 years, our community has come together in the best possible way to support educators, students, and schools — through the joyful celebration that is the Park City Education Foundation’s Running with Ed!
May 17 was the perfect day for a relay: cool temps, creative costumes, bright smiles, warm hugs, and memories made. And yes, even a little running. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, the 16th annual Running with Ed was a resounding success: nearly 1,000 runners, 125 volunteers, countless generous donors and sponsors, and $245,000 raised (and counting!) for the Park City Education Foundation.
Our school PTO groups hosted six amazing exchanges — no small feat at the end of the school year when calendars are packed and volunteers are hard to come by.
The Beau Collective brought their signature energy and “sweatebration” spirit to the Utah Olympic Park exchange. And the finish party? Epic, complete with fantastic food, beverages and giveaways from sponsors like Park City Brewing and Westgate Park City.
You may know that Vail Resorts Epic Promise is a presenting sponsor of Running with Ed, generously contributing both financial and in-kind support. But did you know that $10,000 of that goes directly to our school PTOs through Running with Ed’s Park City Mountain participation grants? This year, a tie for first place means Jeremy Ranch and Trailside PTOs each receive $5,000, with Parley’s Park earning $2,000 — for a total of $12,000!
The race route was filled with families juggling it all — running, volunteering, fundraising, shuttling to soccer, lacrosse, music competitions, even prom prep — all to support our extraordinary educators who show up for our students every single day.
More than 200 Park City School District teachers participated for free, thanks to Christie’s International Real Estate. Many have told us it’s their favorite day of the school year. And thanks to OK3Air and generous community donors, over 150 students were also able to join at no cost.
While we’re proud to raise a quarter million dollars for Classroom and Express Grants, Running with Ed is about more than money. It’s a moment to come together as a community to honor and celebrate our students, teachers, and staff in a day filled with joy, gratitude, and connection.
And that’s a goal worth running toward every day of the year.

In addition to Classroom Grants, which are funded by RWE, three elementary schools will receive THOUSANDS more from Park City Mountain Grants. For the first time ever, we had a tie in school participation - Jeremy Ranch and Trailside PTOs tied for 1st place and each receive $5,000, with Parley's Park earning $2,000. This is a total of $12,000 for their PTOs.
