PCEF Funding Priorities Through 2030

Over the past year, our community, team, educators, board members, and expert volunteers took a thoughtful approach to fine tuning our strategic plan to guide PCEF’s work through 2030.

Our mission remains the same: to fund educated-powered initiatives that inspire all Park City students to successfully reach their academic and lifelong potential. What’s new is a streamlined approach from eight initiatives to four funding priorities. This ensures every dollar we invest has the greatest impact on Park City students.

PCEF’s Streamlined Funding Priorities

Personalized Learning: Preparing Each Student to Meet Their Full Potential

“The Coffee Cart program has been one of the most fun and rewarding experiences of my career. It created an environment where special ed kids learned a myriad of skills while contributing to school culture, and it would not have been possible without PCEF!”

– Brianna Gallery, JRES Special Education Teacher

Elevating Educators: Supporting Educators In and Out of the Classroom

“I honestly don’t think we could do this without PCEF. It feels amazing to be able to say, ‘Yes, we can get you that!’ instead of having to say no. That little shift makes such a big difference for our teachers and our kids—and it’s all thanks to PCEF donors.”

– Missy Tschabrun, PCSD Preschool Coordinator

Real World Learning: Equipping Students for Tomorrow’s Challenges

“These programs are essential for students in high school, primarily due to the support and skills you can obtain. It serves as a guide on whether or not you’d pursue that specialty or career. Unlike higher education/university, you can retrace your steps and look at alternate careers without worrying about a fee attached to the course. Through the funding of PCEF, I no longer have to worry about the cost of a class.”

– Brian Rea, PCHS Class of 2025

Closing the Opportunity Gap: Every Child, Every Chance

“The most meaningful thing about Bright Futures will be to achieve my dream of getting a degree as a first-generation college student.”

– Maia Abonce, Park City High School Class of 2026

Thanks to you – our PCEF community – for your continued support. Thanks to PCEF donors, nearly $1.4 million in funding supported programs and grants across Park City schools during this school year, and the same funding will be infused into programs and grants beginning this fall for the 2026-27 school year. Guided by the amazing teachers in PCEF funded programs, students learn skills like collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, confidence, and resilience – skills that translate to success in any job, and in life.
