PCEF STAFF
Ingrid Whitley
Ingrid joined the PCEF team as President and CEO in early 2024. She is thrilled to be part of an organization with a mission that resonates so deeply with her passion for and background in education. Prior to PCEF, Ingrid worked at CCS Fundraising, an international strategic fundraising consulting firm where she partnered with clients in the education and human services sectors to direct campaigns ranging from $20 million to $100 million, manage feasibility studies, and conduct development assessments.
Earlier in her career, Ingrid helped steer the strategic direction and growth of Teach For America’s (TFA) Indianapolis region. She oversaw 35% growth in the chapter’s alumni network, cultivated meaningful improvement within its alumni culture, and managed a principal fellowship program, funded by two of Indianapolis’s largest philanthropic foundations, the Lilly Endowment and Fairbanks Foundation.
Ingrid began her career as a TFA corps member. During her two-year service commitment, she taught seventh- and eighth-grade social studies, English 10, and World History at a public charter school in Indianapolis and led her state-tested students to 117% growth. Concurrently, she earned a Master of Arts in teaching from Marian University in Indiana.
Ingrid attended Lafayette College in Pennsylvania where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in government & law and history. Outside of work, Ingrid loves traveling (she has been to nineteen countries and thirty-four states); hiking (her favorite was a trek through Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia); and volunteering as an alumna councilmember at her alma mater. Originally from the Hudson River Valley in New York, Ingrid moved to Utah in 2018, and lives in Park City with her husband and one-year-old daughter.
