PCEF BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2025 - 2026
Susan Burlazzi

Susan Burlazzi is a passionate advocate for children and families, with a professional background in law and a personal commitment to educational equity and inclusion. She began her career as a commercial real estate attorney at Jones Day and later at Morgan Stanley. Her life took a different direction when her oldest child was born hearing impaired and with Williams syndrome, leading Susan to spend the past two decades navigating and advocating within the educational, therapeutic, and healthcare systems.
In her prior life in the suburbs of New York City, Susan served as an elected Trustee of the Pocantico Hills School Board, where she focused on supporting all learners, and also worked at a research and advocacy center for the developmentally disabled.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, she earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Texas -Austin. Susan and her husband, Malcolm, moved to Park City five years ago with their three children to slow down and embrace the mountain lifestyle. Their son Alex is currently enrolled in the post–high school transition program at PCHS; their daughter Maisie is a graduate of the Winter Sports School and attends the University of Michigan; and their youngest, Georgia, attends PCHS.
Susan currently serves on the boards of Lucky Ones Coffee and The Tenacity Project and is thrilled to bring her legal background, board experience, and advocacy perspective to the Park City Education Foundation.
