PCEF BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2025 - 2026
Christine Eschenfelder

Originally from California, Christine has now lived in Utah for over twenty years, and she has lived in Park City since 2012. Christine and her husband are raising two kids in Park City who have benefitted from a myriad of programs that PCEF supports, including the Spanish dual-immersion program, the EVA art program and the Pocket Trumpet program. She cannot over-emphasize the importance of these programs to her kids’ identities and enjoyment of school.
Christine is new to the PCEF board and excited to serve on the Governance Committee. She has previously served on the EATS Park City board and volunteered with and supported RWE, NAC, and a variety of philanthropic programs.
Christine is a current PhD student in Sociology at USU and has been a practicing attorney since 2008. Christine’s research interests revolve around marginalized and vulnerable populations, migration and gender issues. Christine is currently focused on how policy changes in 2025 have impacted visa holders. Her legal practice focuses on employment-based immigration, including a multitude of non-immigrant or temporary work visas as well as immigrant or permanent, employment-based visas.
Christine earned her J.D. from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of
Law, where her internship at the Immigration Court in Salt Lake City and pro
bono work preparing ‘Violence Against Women Act’ immigration petitions and
asylum cases piqued her interest in immigration law. Prior to law school, Christine graduated from the University of California, San Diego in International Studies, with a minor in Anthropology.
Like much of Park City, Christine tries to spend as much time outside as
possible, preferably with her three dogs.
