“We are here to celebrate our teachers. It’s really such a treat for us because we have such amazing teachers here at Park City High School.”

& The Sarah & Stephen Doilney Award
In 1996, Jim Doilney and PCEF created the Excellent Educator Awards to honor the educators in the Park City School District. Jim was inspired by his mother who was a teacher. Since 2019 he has been joined by the Louis Family to continue this endeavor, as Hank Louis was a former educator.
Every year, educators in each school determine Park City Education Foundation’s Excellent Educators. This year, seven Park City teachers have been honored by their peers and students as the "best of the best"!
The 2025 Excellent Educator Award Recipients:

The Sarah & Stephen Doilney Award
- Joanna Andres, Social Studies Teacher (it's the first time ever for one teacher to win both the Excellent Educator and The Sarah & Stephen Doilney Award). The Sarah & Stephen Doilney Award is voted on by the Senior Class at Park City High School to honor the most influential educator of their school career.
Joanna Andres is in her sixth year at Park City High School, and became a teacher because she wanted to make a positive impact on kids. “It's about building relationships with the students,” she said.
Congratulations to Park City’s Excellent Educators!
