PCEF BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2025 - 2026
Bonnie Stewart

Bonnie hails from Coronado, CA but prides herself on having lived all over the US (plus a year abroad in Scotland!) She has a BS in Biology from Trinity College in CT, then worked at The Scripps Research Institute in San Diego before planting herself in the Midwest for a PhD in Microbiology at The University of Iowa.
After meeting her husband Norm during graduate school, they were in Virginia briefly for his Navy commitment, back to the Midwest, then put down roots in the Pacific Northwest (both Seattle and Portland) for 20 years where she worked in immunodiagnostics. Her two boys, Oskars and Axel Auzins, were born in Portland and attended the French American International School, immersed in French education from age 3. She served as a Trustee of the school for 3 years, leading Capital Campaign, Strategic Planning, and Head Search committees.
The decision to move their family to Park City in 2022 was 100% a lifestyle choice. Bonnie had grown up in a one high school resort town and wanted that for her children (winter version instead of beach!). Her boys immediately thrived here, transferred their French language seamlessly into the dual immersion program at Trailside and TMJHS, and took to the mountains for an active lifestyle.
Bonnie was introduced to the Park City Education Foundation by a friend recruiting for the Ambassador volunteer position at TMJHS. She served in that role for the final two years of the school and is about to start her second year as PCHS PTSO vice president. She supports the Park City Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Fund, the Youth Sports Alliance Gaddis Endowment, and loves to volunteer with several sports teams and PCHS music department.
