Ben Rifkin

Ben Rifkin has a diverse business operations and leadership background across the media, technology, sports and financial industries. He moved to Park City with his family in 2014 after spending 10 years in Denver, CO.

Ben currently serves as the President of Royal Street Investment & Innovation Center and a Venture Partner at Royal Street Ventures, a seed stage-focused VC firm. During his time in Park City, Ben opened PandoLabs, Park City’s only business incubation-focused co-working space, as the initial manager, and also served as the Executive Director of the Park City Angels, Utah’s most active seed funding group.

Ben started his professional career as an intern with SKI Magazine, focused on digital content creation and audience growth, after graduating from Dartmouth College and competing on the college’s ski team. Ben accelerated through the company, eventually being named the youngest-ever Publisher of the SKI and Skiing brands and associate publisher of Saveur, operating under Time Inc. and then Bonnier Corporation. He then moved into an SVP Marketing and Operations role at Consumer Capital Partners, a Denver, CO-based private equity firm, overseeing go-to-market strategy for new acquisitions, internal brand launches and the US Pro Challenge. Ben later gained valuable startup and leadership experience as President/General Manager of the Denver Cutthroats, the AA-affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche.

In Park City, Ben mentors students at the PCCAPS program, advises startup businesses, co-chairs the Thin Air Festival and chases his kids and wife down hills.
