Moe Hickey

Moe Hickey has spent 30 years in the international and domestic financial markets. He has held a number of senior executive positions with international financial firms, and worked in a number of foreign locations. He has been involved in all aspects of trading, capital markets and structured debt and the experience to implement a host of strategies.

He started his management career as Managing Director of West Coast operations for two boutique financial firms. He was then asked to move to Asia as the Chairman of Asian operations for Prebon Yamane. His responsibility included all trading and finance as well as the expansion into new markets. During his tenure Prebon Yamane opened partnerships in six new countries in addition to the five existing operations.

He left Asia to return to New York as a Partner at Cantor Fitzgerald. He started the Emerging Markets operation and grew it to twelve countries with the largest trading volume in the market over the next two years.

He semi-retired in October 2000 and moved with his family to Atlanta, Georgia. He came out of retirement to start V & H, LLC a private consultant in the real estate development market. He and his team have worked on a number of projects both domestically and internationally.

He moved to Utah in the summer of 2005 with his family. He is married to Cindy and has two children (Chris and Caitlin) and they currently attend PCHS and TMJH. He was elected to the Park City Board of Education in 2008 and joined the PCEF Board in 2009. He currently serves as the President of the Park City Board of Education.
