PCEF Grants

The Park City Education Foundation awards over $1,000,000 each year in grants. Our grant awards impact every student in the district by funding classroom and school programs.

PCEF granting opportunities are only open to Park City School District faculty, administration, and staff. If you are interested in applying for a grant, please review the information below.

Express Grants

Considering applying for an Express Grant? Please review the Express Grant Guidelines to make sure you are eligible and understand expectations.

The Express Grant application is open until funds are gone. Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Be aware the maximum award is $1,000.

Apply for a Teacher Grant

The application deadline for Teacher Grants is 5:00 pm on October 15, 2019. 

**IMPORTANT** This year, the 2019-20 School Year (SY), is the last year Teacher Grants will be due in the fall. For 2020-21 SY, PCEF will implement our “Classroom Grant” program with the application deadline in spring 2020. This will be the ONLY grant program for 2020-21 SY! All Teacher and School Grants will now be under one grant program: Classroom Grants.

Program Managers:

  • Grant materials need to be ordered through Munis.
  • Use your grant code on the grant spreadsheet when when ordering.
  • Ordering can take up to 4 weeks so please plan in advance.
  • Amount available (listed in spreadsheet) is as of a particular date (listed).  Keep track of your own grant budget.
  • All orders must be placed by April 1.  Funds will not carry over to the next year. 
  • Please do not order materials expecting to be reimbursed.  You must order through the school district processes. 
  • Miscellaneous questions or help ordering can be directed to Mike Heagren, Financial Manager. (ext. 1440). 
  • If your grant falls outside the above guidelines please contact Mike Heagren, Financial Manager (ext. 1440) to order.


Purchase Order

  • Purchase Orders are for most orders, including large orders and IT orders.
  • Bring your School Secretary your grant # and they will process the order through Munis.
  • Curriculum purchases must be approved by the curriculum director.  
  • IT purchases must be approved by the Technology department. 


For School Secretaries:

  • School Secretaries will need to look at all grant funds by inputting the Grant # only in the Account Inquiry section in Munis.  If grant has available funds but not in the expected "object" code call the district office to transfer.
  • Grant #s are case sensitive in Munis.
  • Miscellaneous questions or help ordering can be directed to Mike Heagren, Financial Manager. (ext. 1440).
  • If grants fall outside the above guidelines please contact Mike Heagren, Financial Manager (ext. 1440) to order.
