Mary Bourke joined PCEF in September 2021. A native of Northern California, Mary joins us after a long career in campaign and annual fundraising and event planning for independent schools in the Bay Area.
After graduating from UC Berkeley, Mary moved to Squaw Valley (now Palisades Tahoe) to enjoy a winter as a ski bum. But she got hooked and stayed for four years, quickly finding a professional home teaching Math, Spanish, summer school English and coaching skiing at Squaw Valley Academy. She then went to business school in Arizona, earning her Master of International Management from Thunderbird. Upon graduation, Mary was hired at Princeton University in the Latin American Studies Program.
Mary and her husband, also a big ski and outdoor enthusiast, moved to Park City part-time in 2019, dreaming of one day making it home full-time, which they did in 2021. They have three adult children who love visiting Utah.
